The Wharton School
Workforce Futures Lab
The Workforce Futures Lab translates research into practice, busting myths about women at work and creating a new evidence base for firms to boost productivity, retention, and well-being.
Workplace policies affecting women are often based on outdated assumptions rather than evidence, limiting productivity, retention, and growth. Wharton's Workplace Innovation Lab will bridge this gap by producing and mainstreaming rigorous, field-tested research on what actually makes workplaces work. In addition to conducting original studies, the Lab will rapidly disseminate pivotal academic findings through convenings and practitioner-focused tools, translating cutting-edge evidence into scalable workplace innovation that reduces burnout, advances women, and boosts firm performance.
